Alfa is qualified to ISO 9001:2008. All of our personnel are regularly re-qualified to a minimum welding standard of IS/NZ 1554.1 SP. Additional weld procedures and qualifications are attained as required for specific jobs. We are able to manufacture from highly detailed manufacturing drawings or with the minimum of instructions.
From a sample, Alfa is able to replicate hard to obtain items or those which may no longer be in production by an OEM. This can also include fabrication & machining of items that were formerly castings.
Alfa has a well-equipped in-house machine shop capable of both low and high volume precision work, including line boring.
Alfa is able to refurbish worn or damaged items to required specifications. This may include reclamation and repair of mild steel parts, hard facing, wear flexing and new surface treatment.
Alfa can offer a variety of surface treatments from complex paint systems requiring inspection reports and certification as well as galvanising and low cost, basic paint systems.
Depending on your needs, Alfa can provide NATA accredited NDT certification. Testing can include Magnetic particle, Ultrasonic and Dye penetration testing.
